Tumarukh the Cartographer version 2 by The-Small Tumarukh the Cartographer version 2 by The-Small
Here is the master of Tumarukh the Cartographer from a concept by Pedro Nunez
This is a sculpt I have done for the amazing Black Sailors project.

Thanks to them for giving me the chance to do it.

As you can see there is an option for his left hand, with a feather or a riffle.
You can also see another version with a different head here Tumarukh the Cartographer version 1 by The-Small

60 mm to top of his head, made in Fimo

Hope you'll like him

Only 3 days left in the campaign, don't hesitate to participate, it deserve it

Love the Rackham-esque Orcy look, with your own unique and incomparable flare. Totally great!

Of all of the series so far, I think that this fella is my favourite. Fantastic characterisation. and I love the little touches like the pocket. That detail sells the whole thing for me, really tells the story of this guys life. Genius.

still amazed that that is fimo. Your ability to control & detail the material is uncanny. i think ive said this before, but have you ever tried sculpting in castaline?

teeny, tiny detail. When its warm, its pliable. When its cold, its like carving into soap stone. It would take a little bit more time building up the form, but towards the end of sculpting, it would hold more detail than polymer clays.

Also, i can pick it up and hold it in my hand. Can't hold polymer clay while its soft. That is what makes me choose it over soft clay.

Incredible sculpt!! Love all the detail you put into it.
Is a mold made of it as it is? Or does it get broken
into smaller parts for casting?

Thank you, glad you like him.

For casting the head, the 2 hands, the loincloth and his right arm are separate.

The weight of the character and the drape of the fabric sculpting are wonderful. I really like the overall feel of him too. Well done!
