There are plenty of dead bodies on them but without the painting it is less disturbing ;)

thats a shame because thats part of the beauty of these kits, in the different ways in which people invision your creation, its almost a two fold peice if that makes sense. For example are the metalic claws rustied with dry blood or black like onyx? I used to play games workshop so I know what a difference they can do.

I fully agree with you.
It is unfortunately difficult for me to know when a kit is painted if the painter do not tag my name.
But for sure a great painting can add a lot to a kit and I would like to see more of mine painted :)

do you ever find that when you photograph things this small, you see things in the picture you didnt see with the human eye?

oh yes for sure, sometimes you see a lot of troubles on the picts that you can not see with your eyes and it becomes difficult to modify then ;)
as I don't like working with magnification (and I don't have any anyway)

always much respect for people that sculpt that small and detailed, with a dynamic flow in it. the white/greyish stuff is magic sculpt or styrene? and do u use magnification glasses when working?
